If you and your partner feel stuck in the same patterns, overwhelmed by disconnection, or facing a crisis that needs immediate attention, a couples intensive offers a powerful alternative. Instead of spreading the work out over months, intensives create focused, meaningful progress in just a few days.
A couples intensive is an extended, structured therapy experience—typically held over one or several days—designed to help you and your partner dive deeply into your relationship without the interruptions of everyday life. This format allows us to slow down, fully understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin creating real, lasting change.
Each intensive is tailored to your unique relationship using a blend of evidence-based and experiential methods:
This collaborative approach allows us to balance structure with depth—giving you both practical strategies and emotional breakthroughs.
Research on longer-format couples therapy models shows that extended sessions can be highly effective in creating meaningful change. Approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method are strongly supported by research, and when delivered in a concentrated format, couples often experience deeper emotional engagement and faster shifts in their relationship dynamics.
An intensive is an investment—not just financially, but emotionally and relationally. By committing to a few focused days, you may avoid the emotional and financial cost of letting issues linger for months or years. Many couples find that this format helps them move forward more efficiently, with greater clarity and confidence.
Each intensive day includes approximately 7 hours, which includes 6 hours of therapy with a lunch break.
